| Oh, Event Horizon. How I had such high hopes for you...and how you dashed them to the ground. | |

| Ya. Only the first hour was good... ya know, before it became Hellraiser.
Someone tell the phones to stop ringing. I had this great idea for a post on ship combat technology, design, and tactics and I can't write it with me being interuppted seventeen times. :/

| I was thinking about other good inspirations for the iSpLARP. Here's my list:
- Alien, Aliens, and Alien Resurrection (the third one wasn't really very space-y.) - Pitch Black - Firefly & Serenity - Andromeda (Ok, mostly watched this for Lexa Doig and the sexy purple chick, but this show was pretty cool for the 'working-man' style spacers. Most of the other ships in the series were working-man style rustbuckets and crappy space pintos, which provided an interesting comparison to the sleek, ultra-modern Andromeda. It's what I imagine the difference is between the new Isley ships and the old rusty stations like Naughtshead.) - Battlestar Galactica - The Black Hole - Enemy Mine (If you haven't seen it, go check it out. It's cheesy, but awesome.) - Soldier - Stargate - Dead Space (Just played through this game with a buddy of mine. This is one FREAKY game.)

| Lana and I are watching Firefly right now, actually. Star Trek: Enterprise is good, too. | |

The only ones I can't agree with in your list are Serenity and Resurrection. Enemy Mine is tremendous, though. I keep pushing Sunshine on people. To your list I add: -Barbarella -This Island Earth(screw you guys, I think it's awesome) -Deep Impact -Treasure Planet(was this already mentioned?) -Explorers Really, I dig anything that has space in it, at all.
